This just out from IBSA…
Following a final consideration of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment by the States and Territories, the new TAE10 Training Package has now been submitted to the National Quality Council for endorsement. This process is expected to take about 3 weeks.

Posted at 08:14h, 15 AprilDO you know of anything which suggests timeframes for delivery – as RTOs differed a lot in the amount of hours/days over which they delivered TAA. I have a client who likes everything done in the shortest delivery mode (7 days for TAA) which isn't always the best (in my opinion) for the participants. I want to persuade the client to provide at least 8 days for TAE10 and would love any literature or audit-friendly info to support my suggestion.

Posted at 11:51h, 15 AprilHi KSR, I don't know of any published timeframes for delivery of TAE40110, but I do know that when TAA40104 came out in late 2004, VQRA in Victoria produced 'nominal hours' for TAA40104 as being about 280 – 350 total (going from memory here, so don't quote me). Hopefully they will publish similar guidelines for TAE40110.
I'll be hoping to run the new qual over about 10 days in an ideal world. TAA40104 ran over 12 days for me.
Hope this helps, and stay in touch.
Cheers, Chemene
