Help ACER trial FSAT!
Who is ACER?
ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) is looking for RTOs and learners to help them trial the new, FSAT (Foundation Skills Assessment Tool).
What is FSAT?
FSAT will be a free, online LLN assessment tool. ACER has had their top LLN people working on this tool for more than a year. I attended the ACER LLN Conference in 2014 and was impressed by what I heard about FSAT and the care ACER is taking with its development. I expect it will be very good, indeed, and offer RTOs an affordable, effective, and reliable tool to assess learners’ LLN skills.

ACER wants to make sure this tool works! They are looking for at least 200 learners to help them trial the FSAT by undertaking the draft FSAT assessment. Learners should represent:

- a range of industry backgrounds
- a range of LLN skill levels (i.e. this tool isn’t just for people with LLN challenges, it’s for EVERYONE).
