ISBA has just sent out an announcement to clarify the NQC’s position on the implications of AQTF 2010 Standard 1.4 for trainers and assessors. It may help you answer the question:
“Do I upgrade my Cert IV TAA to Cert IV TAE or not?”

The promotion of requirements for current holders of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to ‘upgrade’ qualifications is firstly not a requirement of the NQC determination and secondly not in the interest of either the VET sector at large or individual VET practitioners.
