20 Mar TAE40116 now on scope for one RTO using Blackwater Projects TAE resources
Finally… TAE40116 off and running!
The first RTO using Blackwater Projects’ TAE resources has successfully added TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to its scope of registration.
Naturally, all credit goes to the RTO staff. Nonetheless, I’m pleased that our TAE resources played a small part in their success. I must also state the obvious disclaimer here, namely that I can never guarantee that RTOs using our materials will automatically have their applications approved.
The successful RTO is regulated by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority.
Tomorrow we’re back to work
The concept of continuous improvement means that I’ll never say we have finished writing the TAE resources. But we’ve reached a rather happy milestone!
One last piece of news, case you missed it…
PwC’s Skills for Australia makes a small change to TAE40116 units
On 10 March 2017, PwC announced that it had made a small change to some TAE units. This change:
- applies to 13 units, including eight of the nine core TAE40116 units
- clarifies the skills and qualifications that TAE trainers and assessors need, to deliver and assess these units
- is a small but good thing—it ensures that qualification requirements for TAE trainers and assessors described in the units match requirements listed in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
