Bio

Chemène is a freelance learning and performance specialist who helps individuals and organisations design, develop and facilitate learning experiences that lead to improved performance.

She draws on her diverse experiences as an elite athlete and coach, school teacher, facilitator and presenter, to mentor and support experienced facilitators and assessors with their ongoing development.

An accomplished writer and publisher, Chemène has written training and assessment materials used by more than 150 organisations to date, both in Australia and internationally.

Chemène relies on her professional network to remain up-to-date with the latest trends and challenges in adult education and training and is a regular speaker at conferences and special events.

Career highlights

  • Trainer’s trainer: Chemène was lucky enough to find herself in her ideal job back in 2000 when she began training trainers and helping new and experienced adult educators alike, get better at their craft. She most enjoys learning as much from them as they do from her.
  • Writer: Since 2009, Chemène has authored (and updated) learning and assessment materials that cover Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. These materials have consistently enjoyed a reputation for quality and have been used by more than 150 organisations, to date. In 2022, Chemène partnered with Pop Education to produce digital versions of the materials, using the latest technology to create engaging and effective learning and assessment experiences for today’s world.  Learn more.
